The off Fallout Van Buren is being remade as a New Vegas mod
Van Buren was the codename for a sequel to Fallout 2 being developed by Black Isle Studios until it was off in 2003. Information about this lost Fallout 3 that could have been has appeared online in the years since, lending it a mythologic quality among Fallout fans. A mathematical group of modders are currently dedicated to recreating Van Buren equally a New Vegas modern called Revelation of Saint John the Divine Blues, since InXile currently owns the Martin Van Buren name.
"We will stay fast to the original President Van Buren account as much as possible," says the project's Page on NexusMods, "and in the future we plan to add in a plurality of customized features. Eastern Samoa of now, the figure is still a WIP."
The original New wave Buren would have been bent in the year 2253 and cast players as an escaped captive, roaming the American southwestward patc pursued past robotic prison guards. Post-apocalyptic versions of places like Capital of Colorado and the Grand Canyon would feature featured.
